JLAT Support Services helps its clients with a wide range of administrative tasks.  It focuses on clients who are struggling with hiring, training and integrating senior Personal and Executive Assistants (“PA”), during a times of aggressive growth and or business transaction.

JLAT was borne out of the frustration that I experienced over many years working as the senior PA in a fast growing professional services firm.  It was hard and time consuming to be continuously adding to the PA pool, particularly experienced PAs, capable of supporting the most senior people in the business.  The available pool of such valuable resources was low and training and integration is always tricky.  It was clear to me that many experienced PA’s were leaving the profession seeking greater flexibility and control over the work-life balance and their skills and enthusiasm had quite simply not been refreshed adequately by less experienced staff.  I recognised that what I needed was access to a support services business that was able to deliver me excellent PA cover, taking advantage of the  relatively large pool of experienced PA who wish to work flexibility and remotely.

I am an experienced PA with 15 years’ experience.  I have worked in both leisure and professional services environments.  For the last 10 years, I have worked for a fast growing strategy consulting business; I was a senior PA, a sector team leader and throughout the last recession the PA to the Managing Partner.  For personal reasons, like many others, I decided to further my career in a more flexible way.  This allowed me the time and space to establish JLAT.
